A private voyage aboard Aurelia Blue is more than simply chartering a yacht. It is a fully personal private Caribbean sailing vacation for couples, families and small groups who want to explore the islands at their own pace.

Why Choose a Private Voyage?

Forget fixed schedules and crowded resorts.

A private Caribbean sailing vacation gives you the freedom to experience the islands in a way that feels personal, relaxed and completely your own.

Instead of following hotel schedules or joining a large group, you explore the islands with the people you actually want to travel with — whether that means quiet anchorages, sea turtles, beach bars, snorkeling stops, family time or simply a slower pace of life aboard your own yacht.

Private Voyages Designed Around Your Group

🌅 Couples

A private voyage can be a wonderful way to slow down, reconnect and experience the Caribbean at your own pace.

• quiet anchorages and relaxed beach days
• sunset dinners and unhurried time together
• snorkeling, swimming and peaceful mornings aboard
• a more personal alternative to hotels or crowded resorts

🐠 Families

Private voyages are ideal for families who want quality time together without the logistics of moving between hotels, restaurants and day trips.

• flexible days shaped around your family’s rhythm
• swimming, paddleboarding and snorkeling straight from the yacht
• time together without fixed resort schedules
• a relaxed setting for both adventure and downtime

🍹 Friends

For friends travelling together, a private yacht creates the freedom to share the Caribbean in your own style — active, relaxed or somewhere in between.

• island hopping, hidden bays and beach bars
• snorkeling, fishing and paddleboarding along the way
• sundowners on deck and shared meals on board
• your own atmosphere, your own pace and no outside group

✨ Special Occasions

Some voyages are about more than a holiday. A birthday, anniversary, reunion or simply the wish to celebrate life somewhere unforgettable can all become part of the journey.

• birthdays, anniversaries and milestone celebrations
• romantic escapes and surprise getaways
• family reunions or time away with close friends
• a private setting that feels personal rather than staged

Or a Little Bit of Everything

Most private voyages are not just one thing — and that is exactly the beauty of them.

That is exactly what makes a private Caribbean sailing vacation so special: it can evolve around your group, your pace and the kind of Caribbean experience you want to have.

One day might be for sailing and exploring, the next for swimming, reading in the shade, enjoying a long lunch on board or watching the sunset with a drink in hand. The voyage evolves around your group, your pace and the kind of Caribbean experience you want to have.

Bequia is one of the most charming stops in the Grenadines, with a relaxed harbor atmosphere, colorful waterfront cafés and the kind of easy island rhythm that makes it hard to leave. Admiralty Bay is a wonderful place to drop anchor, go ashore for dinner or simply enjoy a slower Caribbean day.

Why Dominica Is Different
Why Bequia Is So Easy to Love

Bequia combines the beauty of the Grenadines with a warm, lived-in island character. It is not just about beaches and turquoise water, but also about local bars, small shops, friendly people and that unmistakable feeling of stepping ashore somewhere that still feels genuinely Caribbean.

Explore lush rainforests, volcanic landscapes, waterfalls and natural hot springs on one of the Caribbean’s most unspoiled islands. Dominica is perfect for guests who enjoy nature, hiking and a more adventurous side of the Caribbean.

Why Dominica Is Different

Life on Board Aurelia Blue

A private voyage aboard Aurelia Blue is not about rushing from island to island. It is about settling into life on the water, enjoying the rhythm of the Caribbean and sharing the yacht with the people you actually want to travel with.

Some days are active, with sailing, swimming, snorkeling or exploring ashore. Others are slower: breakfast in a quiet bay, reading in the shade, a long lunch on deck or simply watching the light change over the water. Life on board can be as relaxed or as active as your group wants it to be.

A private Caribbean sailing vacation aboard Aurelia Blue is not just about moving between islands, but about enjoying the rhythm of life on the water with the people you actually want to travel with.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
About Private Caribbean Sailing Vacations

Can we choose our own travel dates?

Absolutely. The dates shown on our website represent our scheduled voyages, but private voyages can often be arranged on many other dates throughout the season. If you have specific travel plans or preferred dates, simply speak with us — we will be happy to explore the possibilities and help create your ideal Caribbean sailing vacation.

Can we choose our route?

Within weather, safety and practical route planning limits, yes. One of the great advantages of a private voyage is the flexibility to shape the journey around your wishes, whether that means quieter anchorages, more time ashore, particular islands, snorkeling stops, beach bars or a more relaxed pace overall. We are always happy to discuss ideas in advance and build a route that suits your group and the season.

This is my first private yacht vacation. How do you help?

You are not expected to know how yacht vacations work. Before your voyage, we guide you through the planning process, including travel timing, flight suggestions, transfer information and practical preparation tips. Every guest receives a personal questionnaire that helps us understand dietary requirements, allergies, preferences and special wishes. Whether you have questions about what to pack, how to get to the yacht or what to expect on board, we are always happy to help.

What can we expect from a private Caribbean sailing vacation aboard Aurelia Blue?

A private Caribbean sailing vacation aboard Aurelia Blue is designed to feel personal, relaxed and easy from the very beginning. You travel exclusively with your own group, enjoy life on board at your own pace and explore beautiful islands, quiet anchorages and memorable places without the fixed structure of a hotel or resort holiday.

Your voyage combines time under sail with swimming, snorkeling, paddleboarding, meals on board and time ashore — whether that means beach bars, local restaurants, nature experiences or simply enjoying a quiet bay. In short, you can expect a Caribbean holiday that feels private, flexible and genuinely looked after — with the freedom of your own yacht and the comfort of having experienced hosts by your side.

Can we book the entire yacht?

Yes. Private voyages aboard Aurelia Blue are exclusively for your own group. Whether you are travelling as a couple, a family or with friends, the yacht is reserved just for you and your guests.

Do I need sailing experience?

No. Private voyages are designed for guests who want to enjoy the Caribbean and life on board, whether or not they have previous sailing experience. If you would like to take part in sailing and simple maneuvers, you are very welcome to do so, but you are just as welcome to simply relax and enjoy the journey.

Can we celebrate special occasions on board?

Absolutely. Private voyages are a wonderful setting for birthdays, anniversaries, honeymoons or simply a special trip with family or friends. If you are celebrating something during your voyage, let us know in advance and we will do our best to make it feel special on board.

How do dietary preferences work on a private voyage?

Before your private voyage, we send a short questionnaire to learn more about your preferences, dietary requirements, allergies and any particular wishes you may have for life on board. This helps us plan the provisioning thoughtfully and tailor meals and on-board food to your group as far as possible.

Are meals ashore included in the on-board provisioning?

No. The on-board provisioning covers food and non-alcoholic drinks consumed on board, but it does not include restaurant visits ashore. During most private voyages, we usually plan at least one evening per week to enjoy a local restaurant, beach bar or a special dinner ashore, depending on the route and your preferences. These meals ashore are paid separately.

Can we bring our own alcohol on board?

Yes, of course. Guests are welcome to bring their own wine, beer or spirits on board, and we are also happy to take preferences into account when planning the on-board provisioning in advance. As always on a sailing yacht, we simply ask that alcohol is enjoyed responsibly and with consideration for safety, the route and everyone on board.

Do you also go ashore for lunch or beach bars?

Yes, sometimes. Depending on the route, weather, timing and your preferences, we may stop for lunch, a drink or a relaxed visit to a beach bar or local restaurant ashore. Some guests enjoy discovering small Caribbean places along the way, while others prefer to spend more time at anchor or on board — both are possible depending on the voyage.

Is fishing equipment included?

Yes. Fishing equipment is available on board, and guests are very welcome to try Caribbean fishing during the voyage.

What are the usual arrival and departure times?

Arrival and departure times for private voyages are usually planned individually together with you, depending on your route, travel arrangements and the yacht’s schedule. If you already have preferred dates, flight times or special plans before or after the voyage, simply speak with us and we will be happy to work out a practical arrangement together.

Can you help with flights, transfers or accommodation before and after the voyage?

Yes. We are happy to help with practical planning before your private voyage, including arrival timing, airport transfers, accommodation suggestions and general travel advice for the start or end of your trip. Many guests combine their voyage with extra time ashore, and we are always happy to help make that part of the journey easier as well.
