Our article about women, equality and command aboard left us with a question we cannot answer ourselves.
Would a Caribbean sailing voyage with an all-female guest group create a different — and worthwhile — experience?
Before we put a date on the calendar, we would rather ask the women who might actually join us.

What we are actually considering
An Aurelia Blue Women’s Voyage would be a normal Aurelia Blue sailing voyage with one difference: the guest group would consist entirely of women.
It would not be a political statement, a sailing course or an attempt to prove anything. Sarah would remain skipper, Chris would remain part of the permanent host team, and participation in sailing would remain exactly what it always is aboard: an invitation, never an obligation.
Why ask at all?
Group dynamics aboard are interesting. Confidence, curiosity and participation do not always develop in the same way in every group.
We are curious whether an all-female guest group would change that dynamic — perhaps around taking the helm, asking questions, trying something unfamiliar, or simply travelling differently.
We do not want to assume the answer. We would rather hear it from you.
What would it be like?
Caribbean islands, anchorages, swimming, good food, conversations, sailing when you want to sail and doing absolutely nothing when you do not.
No previous sailing experience required. No obligation to participate. No artificial programme built around gender.
